GCAA® Development Team

The team that created the GCAA® consists of distinguished scholars, business executives with extensive international experience, academicians involved in international education, an executive recruiting specialist for global corporations, and assessment development and validation experts.


Some of the team members are mentioned below:

Christi Hunter, M.S. earned her B.S. from the Pennsylvania State University and her M.S. from Kansas State University, where she had the opportunity to study in a world renowned program with students from around the globe. She has been working for major global corporations for over 13 years, including Häagen-Dazs (now part of Nestlé ), Mars, and Kraft Foods. While at Mars, she partnered globally to develop and launch products for international brands such as DOVE® Chocolate and M&M's®.

Ms. Hunter became a recruiter for Management Recruiters International, MRINetwork, which is the largest and most successful recruiting firm in the world. During her tenure, she was promoted to Sr. Account Manager. Her clients have included multinational food corporations for whom she has sourced employees capable of working across international and cultural borders. Ms. Hunter has provided career development and job placement coaching to students and employees interested in elevating their employment marketability, and she has assisted companies in building effective and capable organizations. She is currently the President of Global Competence Consulting, LLC and the Chief Operating Officer for Global Leadership Excellence, LLC where she works to assess, prepare, and enhance the global workforce of tomorrow.

Mohamed Latib, Ph.D. serves as the Dean of the School of Business and Center for Lifelong Learning at Gwynedd-Mercy College. Previously he was Vice President of Program and Strategic Development and MBA Director at DeSales University for more than ten years. While at DeSales, he led the University's international initiatives, building programs in Romania and Peru and developing alliances in India, Italy, Germany, Argentina, Peru and Romania. He has led numerous global study tours helping students to develop an understanding of the larger world through intercultural and immersion engagement. He has been the recipient of over $600,000 Business in International Education grants from the US Department of Education and the PA State Department of Education to advance global competence and understanding.

Dr. Latib has been invited by many organizations, including the Club of Rome, to speak regarding the management, education and development of employees for the future. He has also served as a consultant to many Fortune 500 companies and other organizations, and he and has over 30 years of senior executive development experience. The author of many articles and professional papers, Dr. Latib, holds an MBA and a Ph.D in Business Administration (Organizational Behavior and Human Resources) from the Fox School of Business and Management, Temple University, as well as degrees in psychology, political science and economics. He is a member of several professional associations. In July 2009, he was elected President of the International Management Development Association.

Pawan Singh, Ph.D. has transformed lagging businesses into industry leaders through business and technical innovations during his 25-year career. He has led a number of organizations and business units including the global waterjet systems business for Ingersoll-Rand with manufacturing or sales presence in nearly 30 countries. He is currently the CEO and Chief Architect - Intellectual Capital for PeriscopeIQ, where he has pioneered a new software genre--knowledge-embedded solutions. Knowledge-embedded solutions combine advanced algorithms, scientific rigor and web technology to give managers a new level of insight and intelligence to help them achieve market leadership. His work on human capital measurement, employee assessment and development have broken new ground in the field.

Dr. Singh holds a Ph.D. and an M. S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester, an MBA from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a B. S. in Mechanical Engineering from India. He has received many honors and awards including the Distinction Award from Wharton and four gold medals for academic excellence. Dr. Singh has published or presented nearly 100 papers, taught management and technical courses, chaired symposia and delivered invited lectures internationally.

Timothy Habick, Ph.D. has over 20 years of professional experience in the testing industry. He earned a Ph.D. degree in Linguistics from the University of Illinois, Urbana (1980). He taught Linguistics and English at several universities including, La Salle University, Temple University, and Tianjin Normal University in China. He joined the Reasoning and Measurement group at Educational Testing Service (ETS) in 1987, where he later served as the Reasoning Group leader.

While at ETS, Dr. Habick served as the test development coordinator for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE® ) General Test and he also wrote questions for the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT® ) and Law School Admission Test (LSAT® ). In 2000, he formed Reasoning, Inc. a test development company that has completed contracts for ETS, the Law School Admission Council, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, CTB/McGraw-Hill, the American Board for the Certification of Teacher Excellence, the College Board, Measured Progress, the American Institutes for Research, and other major testing organizations. Dr. Habick travels frequently internationally. He led many educational tours to China and Japan. In 2007, he completed a World Bank mission to improve standardized testing in the country of Moldova.
